Crafted entirely from recycled cork, the rocker chair showcases the incredible versatility of this material. Cork’s natural properties; lightweight, water-resistant, antimicrobial, and fire-resistant, make it a perfect choice for a modern, durable chair.
When cork is harvested the first time, the bark of the cork tree is cut off,
a process that leaves trees intact while contributing to carbon sequestration. The bark will grow back and the cork can be used to make wine stoppers with. After the wine bottle is opened the cork usually does not have an afterlife. Can you imagine you can use those same cork stoppers, grind them and make a soothing rocker chair out of it?
